Living newspaper.
Interesting features.
The dull mind is stirred up by news about reception of ''White paper'' about refugees. Record forms for Internees with applications for release are filled in. Will they be of any use?

18 points for Internees who may be released by complying with certain conditions are posted. But when will anything happen in Canada in this respect? The paper only applies to internees in Britain and though talks are going on the matter in Canada is not settled and I am not afraid that anything will be done too hastily/ Lets hope for the best that anything is done at all.

First night performance of ''Faust'' on self-made stage. Great success.

It becomes known that mail has been handled very insufficiently and long delays are caused. In the House of Commons it was said that 100,000 letters have been found at the Chief Censor in Liverpool and now many letters may be lying in Ottawa??? today I entered the hospital . Irritation of a nerve.

Quite a comfortable life in hospital. Food good and plenty. Doctors and orderlies enjoy it especially. Hospital is supervised by two of our physicians. M.O. comes once a day for inspection. Got a new M.O. who is very nice in contrary to the young M.O. we had before and who had grown very unkind. Most of orderlies don't work too hard except at mealtimes shifting the food down their throats. I am only treated with pills. To me the hospital room looks rather likea lounge and conversation place than a quiet room. I seem to be an airy health resort for usit is rather draughty
